This product works great for my six year old and has helped him almost completely stop sucking his thumb. He says it tastes “disgusting,” but the taste has not transferred onto his food at all.I did need to reapply anytime he washed his hands, but was able to teach him how to do it himself. My son is so proud to tell people he has finally stopped sucking his thumb.
