I'm big on the iridescent look and when I saw these nail polish shelves on sale, I couldn't resist! These are SO cute. They do look just as described and are pretty well-made, but with just a few caveats, namely:1) The iridescent finish is, seemingly by design, slightly scrunched looking at the corners, almost as if it's peeling off; it isn't, it's just how they're manufactured, but while not super visible, it does take away from the look.2) The protective film is an absolute nightmare to peel off. It literally took me about 2 hours. I wish I was exaggerating! It is SO hard to get it started, and you have to go slowly & gently to avoid damaging the finish. I cannot tell you how unexpectedly exasperating this process was. It's not a deal-breaker, but just be prepared that it is really, really, really tedious.3) Even with the film, there were a few small scratches & imperfections in the finish. Not super visible, but still disappointing.4) They size is both exactly as expected and still somehow I thought these would hold more. Even with teenie bottles, you will not be able to get two stacked depth-wise. Just be aware that you'll probably need more shelves than you thought!5) This is the important one. The mounting hardware included is absolute TRASH. Like, the gentlest but smoothest force will still smush those wall anchors. They might as well be made of paper. Even with an appropriately-sized pilot hole, they'd either end up deforming to the point of being unusable, breaking off in the wall when I went to screw them in, or just spinning freely in the wall. Thankfully I had some spare wall anchors to replace the ones that broke but I really don't even feel good about the sturdiness of the ones that didn't. The only saving grace is that these don't have to bear much weight.All in all, I say get these shelves, just know what you're getting into, and absolutely without a doubt purchase separate mounting hardware!I thought these were a little pricey, but they look great, so I'm ok with it and I'll probably purchase more. In the pic, they are on an 18" wall and are 5" apart bottom to bottom. The description on these says to remove protective film. As far as I could tell, there was no protective film on the shelves themselves. They just come in a plastic bag. There is a protective film on the end stops or "warm tips", as my bag says. We used a 7/32 drill bit for the wall anchors.I love these shelves so much! I have bought three sets because I really really like them and they work perfectly for holding nail polish! They only old around 11 bottles each but that's fine. They are really easy to install and look great!I bought these for my craft room to hold nail polishes and glitters. They are absolutely gorgeous. The colors are beautiful.My shelves have a few scratches on them but once you put the polish on them those scratches don't matter anymore.
